"If It Seems Too Easy, You're Not Trying Hard Enough." Pt. 1: Preview

I apologize for the delay in posting this. The past several months have been extremely busy for me. Not really one large event; more of a large assortment of several things. Therefore, I will be splitting this entry into several smaller bits, so as to not instantly bore anyone to death. By the way, the main title of this piece is something which I thought of while doing work for my employer.

First off, since graduation, my invitations to come into work have been few and far between. It seems that the workload has finally dimnished since the end of tax season. Hopefully, my workload will pick back up once tax season returns, but the status of that is unknown at the moment, since I have other employment opportunities now (unfortunately, the internship I mentioned earlier didn't pan out into anything).

Second, I have had endless car problems. After the overheating problems, all was well (apart from a squealing in the brakes, accompanied by a carbon buildup on the front rims, which the previous brake job didn't fix) for a month or two. Then, things started going downhill. Once again, more to come in a future installment.

Thirdly, I went through a long (and often arduous) process to resurrect an old Apple Macintosh computer (fortunately, much newer, and more useful, than the compact Macs in my vintage computer collection). While just about everything worked out in the end, the process was far more complicated than it ever should have been. Yet again, more in a future installment.

Finally, just an update to an earlier post regarding my little PDA experiment. On the whole, I'm considering it to have pretty much been a total failure, since my life is just not optimized to organization by a PalmPilot. Perhaps it will be someday, when I have to keep track of zillions of phone numbers and appointments, but for the time being, my flaky memory will suffice. ;)
