"If It Seems Too Easy, You're Not Trying Hard Enough." Part 2: Work
Yet another delay. Once again, things have been rather busy around here, but fortunately, for better reasons. After graduation, work opportunities declined for me. I had two opportunities for internships, but sadly, both fell through. In addition, the accountant I had been working for had less and less need for me, so my services were not required nearly as often as I'd like.
Fortunately, the accountant was looking out for me, and got me a job at a small convenience store not too far from his house. The work is much more steady than my old job had ever been (well, except during tax season). I typically work 3-4 days a week for around 5-6 hours per day, closing the store up when I leave (since I tend to be a bit of a night owl, that works out nicely). Business at the store tends to be slow, which is nice.
The pay isn't much, but it beats making no money at all. Hopefully, I will be able to find a better job sometime in the near future, so that I can save up money to make up for all the car troubles I've had in the last few months (more on this in another installment). For the time being, though, I'm fine with the regular work.
